HOW TO REMOVE GEL NAIL POLISH AT HOME

I have been working in nail industry for more than 2 years, and I know that customers sometimes had to drive from far away to nail salons just for removing gel nail polish. However, it is really simple and it could save you some time and money by taking off gel nail polish at home. With a couple key tool and a little patience, you will have healthy, naked nails in no time.

All you need are acetone nail polish remover, a nail file, some kitchen foil and some cotton pads. You probably have all of these stuff at home already, but you can also find acetone at Walmart or online with very affordable price.

First, you will start by just filing away the topcoat seal. You should do this gently because you do not want to accidentally hurt your cuticles. Then, you put a cotton pad soaked in acetone on your nails. The perfect size of the cotton is not too big than your nail. Next, use foil to wrap around your fingertips and wait for about 10 to 15 minutes. If the polish does not come off easily, you change the cotton pad soaked in acetone and wait for a couple more minutes. Finally, remember to put lotion on your nails bed after removing gel nail polish.
